Natalia Muñoz is a multimedia artist, journalist, and a communications and marketing consultant.
She is a bilingual and bicultural journalist with 25+years experience in print, online and broadcast media. She has covered business, education, sports, politics and human interest stories for The Associated Press out of Barcelona, Spain; The New York Daily News; and The San Juan Star, El Vocero and El Mundo, English- and Spanish-language newspapers in her native Puerto Rico.
She is co-producer of the award-winning documentary, “Vieques: Worth Every Bit of Struggle,” a portrait of ordinary people who defied U.S. military to end weapons testing and bombings on their small Puerto Rican island.
As a cultural competence expert, she has worked with non-profit organizations including the American Psychological Association, Univisión, the Hampden County Regional Employment Board, the University of Massachusetts Fine Arts Center, the Holyoke Public Schools, Northwest District Attorney’s Office.
